Behind the scenes: ‘Smile for a while’

The best gift from a poet are his words. They carry emotions; true emotions which are delivered straight from heart. The poem titled as ‘Smile for a while‘, which I shared with you in my previous post, was a gift to my cousin sister.

A relation which is unconditional like friendship! A relation which showers care like that of mother! A relation which breathes in love! A relation where they fight like children! A relation which has guiding force like that of father. A relation where you share your secrets! A relation which echoes in eternity! Such is the bond between brother and sister.

Doesn’t matter how much they fight,
But at the end it’s love and care between them
That keeps their bond alive!

Maybe they can’t stand each other sometime,
But absence of any one of them
Makes other feel lonely, in no time!!

Everybody is not lucky to have a sister
So, respect the one you have;
Don’t break her heart!

Extend your support to her
In every situation,
Till your last breath,
Till the last beat of your heart!!

  1. This is the first time I have written a comment on your blog, now that I have the new laptop, since before I had one that….lets say it sucked and couldn’t even see the notifications, point being, you talking about a sister……man o man, can I relate to that. Pain in the ass, gotta love them though, actually the whole family if a person has a good family that is, then you got to treasure them.

    1. I’m so glad to hear from you. Happy to know that you could relate to my post. Certainly, we must treasure our family as everyone is not lucky to have one. Thanks for reading, Charlie! God bless…
